And it was Hitler's car, though I think they claimed Bonnie and Clyde's was there too. Good you saved your dollar.xAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4937568663863748146.post-32338992440635622652009-03-02T17:16:00.001-08:002009-03-02T17:16:00.001-08:00Hey Ned - we stopped to see THE THING - only we di...Hey Ned - we stopped to see THE THING - only we didn't want to pay $1 - so we just looked it up online...

http://www.doney.net/aroundaz/thing.htmDoughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16526575110311116038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4937568663863748146.post-17974319222558672592009-03-02T17:16:00.000-08:002009-03-02T17:16:00.000-08:00The demise of "Stuckeys" saddens me. Plus, when you'd drive from Texas to California- somewhere in New Mexico or Arizona was "The Thing". You'd see signs for "The Thing" for hundreds of miles. I never went to see it, whatever it was. I heard it was Bonnie and Clyde's bullet ridden car. Probably not the real one. Today's blog was very funny, and a little sad. Like Thomas Woolfe said, you cant go home again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4937568663863748146.post-71588396068928641712009-03-02T17:15:00.000-08:002009-03-02T17:15:00.000-08:00I loved Stuckeys as a kid. I also loved the very sickeningly vermont maple candies which I would eat watching my ViewMaster Star Trek discs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
