Little Buffy & Jody in that picture probably died of heart disease before they hit puberty!

Writer - You'd be surprised at how "meaty" some of the faux meats taste now. Morningstar, Yves, Lite-Life, Quorn, and Tofurky all make incredible stuff that's at least worth trying, IMO.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10216138442730466709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4937568663863748146.post-15309717282191552622009-03-18T22:26:00.000-07:002009-03-18T22:26:00.000-07:00Oh, the world of blonde, blue-eyed Aryan people an...Oh, the world of blonde, blue-eyed Aryan people and their meat-loving ways. I hate most vegetables - this because my mother typically boiled everything until it was grey and limb.

However I hate the meat industry. If we're going to have meat, every creature that is going to be put on the table, should be free-range and hormone-free. My ideal situation would that I were a farmboy who raised his own animals and slaughtered them - yeah, harsh, but at least I would know how the animals were treated and what they were fed.

However, I know the reality is - I would name all my animals and nothing would ever be killed.

Read Barbara Kingsolver's Animal, Vegetable, Miracle... :)Writerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00445128608422429761noreply@blogger.com
