Just finished watching the 12-episode box set. Still as funny as when it first aired. Never have I laughed out loud as much as when revisiting Basil, Sybil, Polly and Manuel.A true classic.

Funniest TV Show Ever
Just finished watching the 12-episode box set. Still as funny as when it first aired. Never have I laughed out loud as much as when revisiting Basil, Sybil, Polly and Manuel.
Those are the best kinds of shows: where you feel like you are visiting old friends again. I feel the same way when I watch my Bottom and Young Ones DVDs, and I laugh as loudly and as hard as I did when I first watched them.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine has uploaded a lot of thirtysomething episodes to YouTube. It has been wonderful watching those again, too. Like visiting with people you knew when you were in college.
