I noticed with a new edition of The Apartment on DVD (both DVD editions, mind you.) The first edition was so much more in line with the movie - a simply image of the two main characters sitting in the apartment talking to each other. The new edition is some Klee attempt at adding Fred McMurray into the mix and simply isn't as successful (or meaningful).
