I just don't know what to say, other than he was one of the few adults who truly understood an entire generation of kids.

RIP John Hughes..curious as to why Breakfast Club was chosen to be shown other than i guess it was the most popular by most. In my opinion i felt it was also the most overrated of all even though i do feel it was an excellent movie.

THE BREAKFAST CLUB was the only film (that he directed) of his that I actually could relate to. I think many of his other films were overrated.

Many films that he wrote and/or produced such as the HOME ALONE series, the MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET remake, CURLY SUE, BEETHOVEN, DRILLBIT TAYLOR and the DENNIS THE MENACE film are highly avoidable.
