TV tie-in merchandise that makes you say "huh?"

Was the lovely Lindsay Wagner pregnant on the cover of this coloring "fun" book? It certainly looks that way...
But I don't remember The Bionic Woman ever giving birth on the show, do you?
Also, what exactly is going on here ? It looks Jamie Sommers is on a row boat with a couple of suspicious dudes. Apparently one is dressed up as a templar knight, the other guy is almost entirely cropped out of the photo. (I guess he didn't sign the release form). Bionic school-teacher Jamie is wearing a Holly Hobbie-inspired maternity top and holding a wooden oar. I guess this was supposed to stress the action of the series, but it's kind of a dull shot. Why would anyone choose this bizarre and unflattering photo to use as the cover for a supposedly "fun" book aimed at children? I just don't know...but I'm glad they did. As a bonus - let's visit the Bionic Beauty Salon...

TV tie-in merchandise that makes you say "huh?"

I love coloring books! I love crayons! I love BEWITCHED! (the original tv show, NOT that abortion of a feature film) So what's more fun on a scorching 95 degree LA October day that digging out my old BEWITCHED Coloring Book and some melted crayons? Hey wait a minute, what's that in Darrin's mouth, a white crayon? Oh no - it's a cigarette!!! Magic, Mirth and Mystery? It's more like Marlboro, Merit and More?
Why would the publishers of a coloring book for children place a cigarette on the cover? I guess for the same reason there was this: Yes, Fred & Barney - friends of Samantha (according to the famous crossover episode) - also smoked tobacco! Shocking! But hey, it was the 1960s, a totally different time. Speaking of TV, advertising and the 60s, who wouldn't love to see a MAD MEN coloring book???
Well, here's something pretty close, THE EXECUTIVE COLORING BOOK. Read more about it at AdLand.

TV tie-in merchandise that makes you say "huh?"

I have no idea what this is...
CHERYL LADD IN JAPAN? Is it a coloring book? A cookbook? A poster? A menu? I just can't figure it out!!! Why would Cheryl Ladd be in Japan anyhow...and why should we care? If anybody has any theories about this product - let me know!!!

TV tie-in merchandise that makes you say "huh?"

Seriously. WTF? Why is there a kangaroo in Beverly Hills? Why is Jed just setting there while his frail, elderly mother abuses a rare and exotic animal? Where is Jethro and Ellie May? Is the kangaroo one of her "critters"? Why is there an ad for laser eye surgery beneath this post? Am I asking too many questions? After all, it's just a coloring book cover. Or is it? Maybe it's a hoax...
